This might be slightly controversial, but I rarely say no to snacks. As a self-proclaimed "Butter Mom," I believe that food should be a source of joy and exploration for my daughter. Rather than imposing strict dietary rules, I focus on teaching her about balance and moderation. This means allowing her to indulge in treats while also encouraging her to appreciate the nutritional value of wholesome foods.
In our home, snacks are not just an afterthought; they are an opportunity for creativity and connection. We often experiment together in the kitchen, creating fun and healthy snacks that we both enjoy. I want her to understand that food is not just fuel but also a way to express love and share experiences.
I aim to instill a positive relationship with food in my daughter, one that celebrates variety and encourages curiosity. By embracing a flexible approach, I hope to equip her with the skills to make informed choices as she grows.
