New Initiative Encourages Proactive Parenting to Address Youth Behavior

CADDO PARISH, La. – A groundbreaking initiative is set to launch aimed at encouraging parents of at-risk youth to take a more active role in their children's lives. Titled "Stop With The Excuses," this program is spearheaded by the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office and will officially kick off on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
The initiative seeks to empower parents and guardians by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to address potential behavioral issues before they escalate. Classes will focus on effective parenting strategies, communication techniques, and the importance of establishing a supportive home environment.
