The Glenabbey Early Years and Parenting Hub marked its official opening on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location at 2a Glenabbey House, situated next to Lynch's Supermarket in Skeoge.
Manager Nicola Mullan did the honors, cutting the ribbon to formally welcome the community into the facility. The hub is designed to provide early years education and parenting support services under one roof, offering families in the area a dedicated space for childcare and guidance.
The opening drew attention from local residents who turned out to see the new premises. The facility aims to serve parents and young children by combining early learning programs with resources for caregivers. Staff at the hub say the space was created to meet a growing need in the Skeoge area for accessible, community-based services.
