CBeebies Parenting has confirmed a new batch of programming for its dedicated YouTube channel, adding five documentaries to its lineup. The series will feature a mix of well-known faces, including Dani Dyer, Charlie Hedges, Leanne Quigley, Krept and Ollie Locke-Locke.
Among the highlights, BBC Radio 1 DJ Charlie Hedges will make CBeebies history by delivering the first-ever Bedtime Story read by a parent alongside their child. The moment marks a shift for the long-running segment, which has traditionally featured a single presenter.
The five documentaries aim to cover a range of parenting experiences, from early years challenges to family life behind the scenes. Each film is built around the personal stories of its contributors, offering viewers an honest look at the ups and downs of raising children.
The move reflects growing demand for parenting content on digital platforms, where audiences can watch on their own schedule. By bringing in familiar names and a historic Bedtime Story first, the channel hopes to reach both existing fans and new viewers.
No release dates have been confirmed yet. The documentaries will appear on the CBeebies Parenting YouTube channel.
